CAREER OPPORTUNITY – RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

MRSB Consulting Services, a leading management consulting company in Atlantic Canada, is currently seeking a full-time Research Associate to join our team.

MRSB Consulting Services undertakes several projects including strategies, needs assessments, research reports, business plans, economic impact studies, feasibility studies, funding proposals, market research, and program evaluations. These projects involve many research methodologies including background research, surveys, focus groups, key informant interviews, and engagement sessions. This position is based in Charlottetown. Salary range is $50,000-$60,000, based on experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

This position will involve secondary online research and literature review and primary research including survey development, administration and analysis; conducting key informant interviews, focus groups, and engagement sessions; synthesis and analysis of research findings; and report writing.

We are looking for a candidate with strong research, analytical, communication and writing skills to assist in research. The successful candidate will be a team player that works well with others and has a strong client focus.

Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in business, a social science field, or another discipline that places emphasis on the development of research, writing,



and critical analysis skills, or significant relevant experience.

- Robust skills in researching, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data on various topics
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent proficiency in English, oral and written, and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills including the ability to manage competing priorities and to plan and execute work to meet required client deadlines
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients
- Dedication, persistence, flexibility, and a willingness to go the extra mile
- Experience in financial analysis, financial statements, considered an asset
