Resident Relations Manager
Permanent Full-Time | Multiple Locations Across Winnipeg

Help Keep Great Communities Running Smoothly A well-established Winnipeg property management company is looking for a dependable, organized and people-focused Resident Relations Manager to support a portfolio of approximately 300 to 500 residential units across multiple locations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and keeping several moving parts on track. One moment you may be helping a resident, the next you may be inspecting a building, coordinating a repair or updating a report.
There is plenty of variety, so being able to multitask, communicate clearly and stay organized is important. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you should be comfortable taking ownership, learning new systems and following through.
This is a non-live-in position.
Important: Daily travel between properties is required. To be considered, candidates must have a valid driver’s licence, a clean driver’s abstract and a reliable personal vehicle.

What You’ll Be DoingResident Support
- Serve as a main point of contact for residents across assigned properties
- Respond to resident questions, concerns and requests in a timely and respectful manner
- Communicate building updates, notices and important information clearly
- Help resolve concerns calmly, fairly and professionally
- Build positive resident relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries and following company policies
Building Oversight
- Travel between multiple properties throughout the workday
- Complete regular inspections of common areas, grounds and building conditions
- Help ensure buildings are clean, safe, welcoming and well maintained
- Identify maintenance, cleaning or safety concerns and ensure they are properly reported
- Follow up on outstanding items so important tasks do not get lost in the shuffle
Maintenance Coordination
- Work closely with maintenance teams and external contractors
- Submit and monitor service requests
- Coordinate access to suites and building areas when required
- Keep residents informed about repair timelines and service updates
- Follow up on completed work and report concerns when expectations are not met
Leasing Support
- Assist prospective residents with general questions about available suites
- Conduct suite showings when required
- Support move-ins, move-outs and suite turnover coordination
- Help prepare buildings and suites for incoming residents
- Work with the leasing team to provide a smooth and welcoming rental experience
Administration & Technology
- Maintain accurate notes, inspection records, reports and resident information
- Use email, mobile applications and property management software throughout the day
- Prepare notices and basic written communications
- Track outstanding tasks and follow up with appropriate team members
- Learn and confidently use company systems, software and processes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in property management, customer service, hospitality, housing or building operations is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing track of important details
- Comfortable travelling between multiple properties during the workday
- Confidence using email, smartphones, digital tools and online systems
- Willingness and ability to learn property management software
- A calm and professional approach to difficult conversations
- Valuable judgment when handling sensitive resident matters
- Basic understanding of building maintenance or cleaning standards is an asset
- Availability to respond to occasional urgent or after-hours situations when required
Driver’s Licence,
Clean Driver’s Abstract & Reliable Vehicle Required Because this position involves daily travel between multiple residential properties, candidates must have:
- A valid driver’s licence

- The ability to travel throughout Winnipeg during the workday

As a Resident Relations Manager, you will help make sure residents feel heard, properties are looked after and daily operations stay on track.
Some days will be predictable. Others may come with a few plot twists. That is property management.
You will not be expected to figure everything out alone. You will have the support of an experienced team while still being trusted to take ownership of your portfolio.
