Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cashier area and dining space
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experiences and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
Experience
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food handling and serving procedures
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Robust customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
