Duties

- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of staff members, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Oversee food handling and safety protocols to comply with health regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Manage cash handling processes, including POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate transactions and reporting.
- Coordinate with staff on food preparation and cooking procedures to deliver consistently excellent dishes.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Conduct interviews for prospective team members to build a skilled and enthusiastic workforce aligned with restaurant standards.




- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment to prevent shortages or waste.
- Uphold food safety standards through regular training on proper food handling techniques and hygiene practices.
- Oversee bar operations if applicable, including bartending duties or supervising bartenders to ensure quality service.

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant environment with strong team management skills.
- Extensive food industry knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and restaurant management best practices.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and sales tracking.
- Background in hospitality or hotel industry is a plus; barista or bartending experience is advantageous.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for interviewing, training, and motivating staff.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
