Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project manager to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with team members and clients to ensure competitive pricing. This role is essential in securing new projects and maintaining profitability, requiring solid skills in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation.

The Project manager will utilize industry-standard tools such as Xactimate and Docusketch. A background in construction and pricing strategies is vital for success in this position.

Responsibilities

- Develop detailed cost estimates for construction and restoration projects based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions
- Utilize Xactimate software to prepare accurate bid proposals
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required resources
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive rates while maintaining quality standards
- Review and update estimates throughout the bidding process to reflect changes or new information




- Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules
- Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, client requirements, and industry regulations
- Prepare comprehensive bid documents and present proposals to clients or internal stakeholders

Skills

- Proficiency in Xactimate
- Familar with Docusketch and Encircle
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors
- Experience in construction estimating with a solid understanding of construction processes and materials
- Excellent project management skills to coordinate multiple bids simultaneously
- Knowledge of pricing strategies within the construction industry
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors

Pay: $65,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate
