New Full Time Position

Retail Brewing store coordinator

BrewHQ/ – Burnside, NS

We are looking for a passionate brewing enthusiast for a full time position with BrewHQ/Best Case Wholesale retail outlet at 81 Ilsley Avenue in Burnside.

It's our new location and we need someone adaptable who can wear many hats while the position evolves. You would be dealing with customers, running the new location, organizing it and working with us to improve it daily.

You will also be ensuring the store is fully stocked, properly priced, and organized etc. You will also be doing winemaking duties but experience in this not required.

Position also involves wine making, working on orders in the attached warehouse when needed.

This is the first step in a new position. It sounds like a lot but the right person will be a great communicator, ask lots of questions, keep us updated and advise us on what comes next as it gets busier. Our offices are 30 feet away and you will be communicating directly with us.

Responsibilities currently include.

Store

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the BrewHQ store
- Provide knowledgeable customer service
- Keep the store clean, organized, and properly merchandised
- Ensure daily tasks and priorities are completed

Stock & Inventory

- Ensure the store is fully stocked with all available products




- Ensure all products are accurately price tagged
- Know current inventory levels, including what is in stock and where it is located
- Answer inventory and product availability questions from our other store locations
- Identify low-stock and out-of-stock products
- Ensure incoming products are promptly stocked, priced, and displayedBrewing
- Be the in-store expert on home brewing, ingredients, equipment, kegging, and brewing techniques
- Answer brewing questions and help customers troubleshoot
- Provide brewing support and product knowledge to staff at our other locations
- Learn the setup, operation, and use of all brewing equipment sold in the store and be able to confidently explain it to customers
- Maintain strong knowledge of our beer kits, grains, hops, yeast, equipment, and brewing supplies
- Organize and host one brewing event per month

Requirements

- Must be an experienced home brewer
- Strong knowledge of beer, brewing ingredients, equipment, and processes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable taking ownership of store responsibilities
- Comfortable working in both a retail and warehouse environment
- Able to lift and move inventory as required
- Retail, warehouse, or leadership experience is an asset
- Winemaking knowledge is an asset, but not required

Warehouse

- Work in the warehouse under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor
- Pick, pack, and ship orders
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
- Safely lift and move inventory and equipment store stocked, organized, and running properly, we’d like to hear from you.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
