We are looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our team at the Oak Bluff Outlet.

We have opportunities available for different skill sets, and the exact responsibilities and wage will depend on each successful applicant's experience, abilities and interests.

Some applicants may be better suited to our sales floor and front counter, while others may focus more on incoming inventory, product inspection and pricing. For the right person, the position could include a combination of both.

Sales Floor & Front Counter Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers
- Process sales accurately through our POS system
- Keep the store, sales floor and front counter clean, tidy and organized
- Stock, straighten and organize merchandise
- Ensure products are clearly and accurately priced
- Assist with researching and pricing products when time permits
- Help with general store duties as required

Inventory & Product Responsibilities
- Work through products arriving on skids and pallets
- Identify products and assess their condition
- Research products and determine appropriate retail pricing
- Organize and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
- Keep inventory and work areas clean and organized

Depending on experience and ability, additional responsibilities may include:
- Testing electrical, mechanical or other products to confirm operation
- Troubleshooting products and identifying defects
- Operating a forklift
- Unloading trucks and organizing incoming shipments
- Taking greater responsibility for product evaluation and pricing

What We're Looking For

Previous retail or warehouse experience is an asset, but attitude,



reliability and willingness to learn are equally important to us.

- Be dependable and consistently arrive at work on time
- Have reliable transportation to and from our Oak Bluff location
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English with customers and coworkers
- Work well as part of a small, close-knit team
- Have a positive attitude and contribute to an enjoyable workplace
- Be comfortable working independently when required
- Take initiative and recognize when something needs to be cleaned, organized or completed
- Be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities

Experience with retail, POS systems, tools, electronics, appliances, warehousing, forklifts, liquidation merchandise or product testing would be considered an asset.

Compensation

Wage will be based on experience, demonstrated ability and responsibilities.

Someone primarily working the sales floor and front counter would be compensated based on those responsibilities, while applicants capable of taking on product testing, troubleshooting, forklift operation, truck unloading or greater responsibility for product evaluation can expect compensation reflective of those additional skills.

Pay: $16.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
