Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on product selection across various categories.
- Assist customers with point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays by organizing products according to merchandising standards and seasonal themes.
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves, conducting stock counts, etc.
- Handle customer inquiries via in-person interactions or e-commerce platforms, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of issues.
- Support store cleanliness and organization to create a safe, inviting shopping environment for all visitors.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members alike.
- Organizational skills will help you manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or online sales channels is advantageous but not mandatory.
