Cambridge Cardiac Care Centre seeks FULL TIME, IN-CLINIC RN Clinical Research Coordinator with Cardiology experience or research based nursing experience. Ability to think problem solve, prioritize, demonstrate proficiency in computer communications, self-directed, independent work. Demonstrated excellence in communication, organization, & collaboration. The nurse will coordinate clinical trials.
Job entails
- Conducting trials according to study protocol
- Screening patients for inclusion and exclusion criteria
- Patient visits
- Data collection
- Entering data into electronic case report forms
- Collecting vital signs, preforming
- ECGs
- Drawing blood work
- Lab specimen preparation and shipment
- Manage adverse and serious adverse events
- Travel to Investigator meetings
Requirements:
- Current RN status, in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and be able to work in Ontario
- Only applicants currently residing in Canada, with a valid licence to work in Ontario will be considered
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
- Cardiology, ICU, ER or office based experience more than 2 yrs
- Current Valid Ontario RN License
- Ability to think critically, solve situations based on protocols and algorithms
- Work independently, multitask
- Current Passport - Ability to travel to the US for investigator meetings
- Excellent Venipuncture skills
- Excellent Computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Current Covid Vaccinations
Pay:
Competitive with ONA scale
