Role Description The Room Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Lake Louise, AB. In this position, the Room Attendant is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and servicing guest rooms and suites, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, and ensuring bathrooms are hygienic and presentable. The role includes handling linens, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and following health, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Room Attendants interact with guests in a courteous and skilled manner,



responding to requests and helping create a welcoming, comfortable stay. The role also involves working closely with the housekeeping team and other departments to maintain high service standards and support overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Housekeeping and clean rooms skills, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in guest areas.
- Laundry experience, including handling, sorting, and transporting linens and towels in line with hotel procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a rapid-paced resort environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items for extended periods as required by housekeeping duties.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations is an asset but not required.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
