We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Russian-speaking Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Nurse to join our caring team in Etobicoke. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, and individuals requiring hospice or dementia care. Your energetic approach will ensure residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their daily lives.

Duties

- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately and monitor health status to ensure optimal well-being
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments through engaging activities and compassionate supervision




- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning personal spaces and common areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Provide caregiving support for individuals with disabilities or those receiving home or hospice care
- Assist with heavy lifting and transfer techniques to ensure safety during mobility assistance

Skills

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or senior care environments
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on dignity and respect for clients’ independence
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice support, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills in Russian; proficiency in English is also preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks effectively
- Compassionate caregiver with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
