Saint John Physiotherapist 2 - Supervisor and/or Clinical Leader (PT02) PCN 1252688 Location: Saint John area (Horizon), _Physiotherapist - Saint John Area, New Brunswick - Permanent Full Time Competition #: 166105 External Posted: September 3, 2026 Closes: September 16, 2026 at 11:59 pm Atlantic Standard Time Anticipated Start Date: December 31, 2026 Location: Physiotherapy Saint John Regional Hospital ~ Saint John ~ Horizon Health Network ~ Health Network Job Classification: Physiotherapist 2 - Supervisor and/or Clinical Leader (PT02) Job Classification Type: SHCP Job Type: Permanent Full Time FTE: 1 Schedule: Day, Evening, Weekend, Rotation, Subject to change due to operational requirements Language Requirement: English Essential Salary: 46.3077 to 55.2495 per hour JOB PURPOSE The Physiotherapy Supervisor and/or Clinical Leader is responsible for supervising the provision of physiotherapy services QUALIFICATIONS - Must be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of New Brunswick and eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Must have progressive related work experience one year in which leadership ability and competency as a physiotherapist have been demonstrated.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision
- Monitor staff cover, assign and review work, participate in recruitment - Provide staff orientation and coordinate staff development programs - Order, monitor and manage inventory,
source and recommend equipment and prepare new equipment proposals - Develop and/or ensure compliance with standards, policies and procedures - Coordinate or participate in student placements - Perform the work of a physiotherapist And/Or Clinical Leadership:
- Ensure services provided by professionals are consistent with the qualified scope of practice and regional policies and procedures - Provide clinical support, guidance, and advice to professionals and to management regarding clinical practice.
