Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and polished Full-Time Sales Associate to join our boutique team.

In this role, you will be the face of our brand. The ideal candidate has an eye for South Asian fashion, can comfortably style and wear traditional attire with grace, and possesses deep knowledge of Punjabi suit cuts, fabrics, and handcrafted detailing. If you thrive in a retail environment, take initiative without needing constant supervision, and love connecting with clients to make them feel confident, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Styling: Greet customers warmly, understand their specific event needs, and guide them through our collections to close sales effectively.
- In-Store Modelling: Wear and model featured Punjabi suits in the boutique to showcase fit, drape, and styling for shoppers, with the choice to appear in social media showcases and marketing content.
- Product Expertise: Advise clients on various fabrics (silk, georgette, organza, crepe, chanderi, cotton), suit cuts (anarkalis, straight cuts, shararas, ghararas, palazzos), and handwork/embroidery techniques (zari, gota patti, dabka, threadwork, mirror work, etc.).
- Measurements & Alteration Consultations: Assist clients with sizing, taking basic measurements, and noting required tailoring/alterations accurately.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Confidently represent the boutique by carrying yourself with poise and professionalism while wearing Punjabi suits on the sales floor.
- Independent Store Operations: Open and close the store,



manage cash and POS card transactions, and keep track of daily sales receipts.
- Merchandising & Presentation: Maintain high boutique visual standards by steaming, hanging, folding, and arranging stock neatly.
- Customer Service & Clienteling: Provide attentive service, manage fitting rooms, and build lasting relationships with repeat clientele.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 6+months experience of retail sales, boutique, or customer-facing experience (experience in ethnic/bridal fashion is an asset).
- Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Punjabi/South Asian fashion, suit styles, fabric types, and embroidery/karigari work.
- Sales Drive: Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals, upsell, and cross-sell complementary accessories or dupattas.
- Modeling & Styling Comfort: Comfortable wearing, styling, and modeling boutique suits both on the retail floor and on camera for brand promotions.
- Professional Presence: Comfortable, poised, and elegant wearing and presenting traditional Punjabi suits during shifts.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Punjabi (knowledge of Hindi or Urdu is a plus).
- Work Ethic: Highly independent, organized, punctual, and reliable with minimal supervision required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods, move garment racks, steam clothing, and lift boxes of inventory (up to 25–30 lbs).
- Schedule: Day shift, weekends, and holidays as required.
