Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with product selection and project advice
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
- Provide accurate information on products, pricing, and promotions
- Support various departments (lumber, hardware, seasonal, etc.) as needed
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle transactions when required
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
- Bilingual abilities (English required; additional languages are advantageous)
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and sales calculations
- Organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and stock levels
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong time management skills to prioritize responsibilities during shifts
- Day, evening, and weekend availability required
