Sales Representative — Pika Pika Foods

We're looking for an energetic, personable Sales Representative to join our team at Pika Pika Foods, a Toronto-based wholesale importer of premium Mediterranean snacks (olives, nuts, baklava, and more). You'll represent our brand both in-store and at weekend markets, pop-ups, and exhibition events — introducing customers to high-quality products they may be trying for the first time.

About the Role

This is a quick-paced, people-facing role. Because our products are premium-priced, your job is to educate customers — explaining sourcing, quality, and what makes each product special — so they understand the value before they buy. Strong energy, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm matter as much as sales technique.

Availability: Must be flexible on weekends.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening

Learn our full product line in depth and confidently educate customers on origin, quality, and taste profile

Demonstrate products through tastings and engaging conversation, highlighting what makes them premium





Upsell thoughtfully to enhance the customer's experience

Handle POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math

Maintain attractive, organized displays at both the store and event booths

Represent the brand at weekend markets, pop-ups, and exhibitions

Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism

Qualifications

Farsi speakers strongly preferred; other multilingual/bilingual skills a plus

Prior retail or sales experience preferred; product demo experience a plus

Friendly, "simpatico" personality — someone people naturally warm to

Comfortable working at a fast pace and staying organized under pressure

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions

Must be available and flexible on weekends for events

Pay: From $30,000.00 per hour
