For more than 85 years, Corbett’s has been a trusted Canadian ski and snowboard retailer, known for expert advice, quality products, and exceptional customer service.

Our Corbett’s North location is entering its fifth season in Collingwood, and we’re looking for a friendly, energetic Seasonal Sales Associate / Cashier to join our team from October through February.

THE ROLE

You’ll be one of the first people customers meet when they walk through our doors—whether they’re buying their first pair of goggles, shopping for a new ski jacket, picking up equipment, or getting ready for their next day at the mountain.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, energetic, and passionate about winter.

You don’t need to know everything about ski and snowboard equipment on day one. We’ll provide product training and help you build your knowledge throughout the season.

Our goal isn’t simply to sell products—it’s to help people have better days on the mountain.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service

· Operate the point-of-sale system and process sales, returns, and exchanges

· Help customers find apparel, goggles, helmets, accessories, and equipment

· Recommend complementary products and services

· Promote boot fitting, tuning, and other Corbett’s services

· Restock merchandise and maintain organized displays

· Keep the sales floor, cash area, and store clean and organized

· Support merchandising and inventory tasks

· Learn Corbett’s products, brands, and services

· Participate in product training and vendor clinics

· Help create a positive, energetic store environment

· Support the team with daily store operations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR





· A friendly, positive, and outgoing personality

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· A reliable, hardworking approach

· Comfort speaking with customers

· Interest or experience in skiing, snowboarding, or winter recreation

· Retail or cash-handling experience is an asset, but not required

· Willingness to learn about ski and snowboard products

· Comfort working in a busy retail workplace

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to lift up to 50 lb

AVAILABILITY—IMPORTANT

This is a part-time seasonal position running from October through February. Applicants must be available for a regular combination of shifts from Thursday through Sunday. Weekend availability is essential.

Required availability includes:

· Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

· Weekends and holiday periods

· Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s

· Family Day weekend

· Peak winter and high-snowfall days
