In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Section Head performs administrative, supervisory, and technical duties in managing all technical operations of the designated laboratory section(s) of the multifunction lab. Performs technical duties as required.
- Field of practice for this position is: Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine (Science).
- This position includes participations in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 laboratory services. On-call assignments are scheduled on a rotating basis and may require return to site for call-outs outside of regular working hours’.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 09:00 to 17:00
