Security Guard – High End Condo

Location: North York, ON (near Yonge & 401)

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $18.47 per hour

Schedule: Overnight - Continental Rotation

- Successful candidates must be able to work the full rotational schedule below:

Rotation A: Sun 0000-1200 Mon:0000-0800 Fri: 0000 - 0800 Sat:0000-1200. Rotation B: Sun 0000-1200 Mon,Tues,Wed,Thurs: 0000-0800.

Rotation C: Tues,Wed,Thurs,Fri: 0000-0800 Sat:0000-1200

Position Overview

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced and professional Security Guard – High End Condo to support the safety and security of a residential property in North York, ON.

The ideal candidate will have previous residential security and concierge experience, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic security team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents, visitors, property management, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications And Requirements

- Previous experience in concierge security,



preferably within a residential environment.
- Minimum of one (1) year of concierge experience.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and wireless communication technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada for up to 40 hours per week.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.
- Availability to work overnights and rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and scheduled patrols of the property to monitor and maintain the safety and security of residents, visitors, staff, and the premises.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious or unauthorized activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patrols, incidents, irregularities, and equipment malfunctions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security-related concerns.
- Communicate effectively with residents, property management,



contractors, visitors, and other building personnel.
- Provide professional concierge and customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
- Address resident concerns and complaints professionally and escalate matters when appropriate to ensure client satisfaction.
- Follow all site-specific procedures, security protocols, emergency response procedures, and communication requirements.
- Participate in required training and maintain a professional approach to ongoing development.
- Support property management and the client with additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information or security-related matters.
