Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused Security Guard to provide security services at Meadowfair Shopping Centre in Abbotsford, BC.

The successful candidate will help maintain a safe and welcoming setting for customers, tenants, employees, and visitors while protecting the property and responding appropriately to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols of the shopping center, parking areas, and surrounding property.
- Monitor for theft, vandalism, trespassing, suspicious activity, and other security concerns.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
- Assist customers, tenants, and visitors when required.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas.
- Complete accurate daily occurrence reports and incident reports.
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
- Liaise with property management, tenants, emergency services, and police when necessary.
- Follow all company policies, site procedures, and applicable laws.




- Perform other security-related duties as required.

Requirements
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
- Previous security experience is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
