Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Senior Autism Therapist / Senior Behavior Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In this vital role, you will provide expert behavioral support, implement individualized treatment plans, and foster positive developmental progress. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized behavioral therapy plans based on each child's unique needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect, analyze, and document data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes.
- Support children with daily activities, including social skills development, communication enhancement, and adaptive behavior training.
- Administer medication as prescribed by medical professionals while adhering to safety protocols and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators,
and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and maximize therapeutic benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, incident reports, and other required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working directly with children in educational or therapeutic settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of special education principles and strategies tailored for children with developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to autism treatment and behavioral health.
- Experience in data collection methods used for tracking behavioral progress and treatment efficacy.
- Ability to administer medication safely following prescribed guidelines; certification in medication administration is a plus.
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting children through their developmental journey.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
