- The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA), Strategic Finance, will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization
- This position will be responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis, insights, and decision support to the Strategic Finance team and key business partners
- Strategic Planning &
- Analysis:
- Support Strategic Finance Managers in the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategic plan through financial modeling, market analysis, and performance assessment across revenue and cost drivers
- Conduct analytical deep dives to support Sales, marketing, Logistics, and Operations initiatives
- Support with building, maintaining, and enhancing financial models to evaluate business initiatives, assess risks and returns, and support decision-making
- Assist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across revenue growth, gross margin, and operating expenses to inform strategic decision-making
- Financial Planning, Forecasting and Reporting:
- Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts by preparing detailed analyses and assumptions in partnership with the Strategic Finance team and cross-functional teams
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance
- Perform variance analysis versus budget and forecast, identifying drivers and providing clear, actionable insights to be presented to Management
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
- Business Partnering:
- Act as a key analytical partner to the Strategic Finance Managers, &
- Sr Director & supporting their day-to-day engagement with Sales, eCommerce, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting team during month end-end and quarter-end close processes, including reviewing financial results, creating accruals, and ensuring accuracy and consistency between actuals, forecasts, and budget
- Support management reporting by helping translate accounting results into meaningful business insights and explaining key drivers of performance
- Support cross-functional initiatives by evaluating financial impacts, challenging assumptions, and enabling data-driven decision-making
- Prepare materials, analyses, and talking points that enable Strategic Finance Managers to confidently communicate insights and recommendations to leadership
- Process Improvement:
- Help identify opportunities to improve financial models, reporting processes, and data accuracy
- Support with automating and standardizing recurring analysis and reports and improving analytical efficiency
- Contribute to documentation of assumptions, methodologies,
and best practices to support consistency across Strategic Finance workstreams
- Provide informal guidance and analytical support to junior team members as needed

- This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys deep analysis, asking the “why”, and influencing outcomes through well-structured financial insights
- 3-4 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A;, or related roles, ideally in a rapid-paced or growth-oriented environment within the CPG industry
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Experience working closely with Accounting during month-end close and understanding of financial statements and accrual-based accounting. CPA or MBA considered an asset (completed or in progress)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills;
experience with ERP systems
