Role Overview

We are hiring a S enior PR Account Manager to lead client relationships, develop strategic public relations campaigns, and oversee the successful execution of multiple client accounts within a fast-paced PR agency.

This is a senior, client-facing role for an experienced career public relations professional with deep expertise in media relations, earned media, press outreach, PR strategy, and client account leadership. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, develop and guide PR strategy, manage and mentor account team members, and remain hands-on with pitching, writing, editing, and media outreach when needed.

This is a true public relations role. We are specifically looking for candidates whose professional background is primarily in PR and media relations.

Salary: $4,000–$4,500 USD per month

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of PR clients, building trusted, long-term relationships.
- Develop and lead strategic public relations and earned media campaigns aligned with client business objectives.
- Lead and mentor account team members, ensuring accountability for deliverables, deadlines, quality, and media results.
- Develop compelling media angles and identify timely, relevant opportunities for clients.
- Write, edit, proofread, and quality-check media pitches, press releases, media materials, client communications, and strategic PR documents with exceptional accuracy.
- Conduct media research and build targeted media lists based on relevant journalists, publications, beats, and client objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and other media contacts .
- Lead proactive media outreach and pitching efforts to secure meaningful earned media coverage .




- Manage multiple PR accounts simultaneously while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Provide strategic PR counsel during client meetings and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen campaign performance.
- Review team deliverables to ensure they are accurate, polished, strategically sound, and client-ready before submission.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare client reports with meaningful insights and recommendations.

Requirements

- Resume in English.
- Native or near-native English proficiency, both spoken and written.
- 10+ years of professional experience specifically in Public Relations.
- 5+ years of experience working within a PR agency in a client-facing/account management environment.
- PR and media relations must represent a significant/core part of your professional background , rather than being a secondary responsibility within a broader marketing role.
- 3+ years of experience leading PR client relationships and managing account teams.
- Proven experience developing and executing PR strategies, media relations campaigns, press outreach, and earned media initiatives .
- Demonstrated experience pitching journalists and securing earned media coverage for clients.
- Strong existing understanding of how to research journalists, publications, media opportunities, and relevant story angles.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and attention to detail , with the ability to consistently produce polished, error-free client and media communications.
- Ability to work during U.S. business hours .
- Strong experience writing media pitches, press releases, and other PR materials .
- Strong understanding of media relations, press outreach, crisis communications, and reputation management.
- Skilled presence and confidence leading executive-level client conversations.
