We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a core Central Program Management team responsible for driving the timely execution of complex deliverables across multiple workstreams within a Global Markets environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic project management, Capital Markets transformation experience, and recent Front Office driven regulatory expertise, particularly FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book).

Candidates must have sufficient knowledge of Markets products and business lines to understand complex requirements, identify practical solutions, and help drive sustainable target-state processes and controls. This role will partner closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across Front Office, Trading, Finance, Product Control, Operations, Risk Management, and Technology to deliver regulatory, risk, control, and transformation initiatives.

Job Title: Senior Project Manager – FRTB / Capital Markets Location: Mississauga, ON (hybrid) Duration: 9 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion) Primary Responsibilities - Lead complex Capital Markets transformation, regulatory, risk, control, and change management initiatives across multiple workstreams.

- Drive PMO discipline and program governance, including milestone tracking, dependency management, issue and risk management, status reporting, and escalation.
- Manage end-to-end project plans and ensure timely execution of strategic deliverables across the program.
- Apply strong knowledge of Markets business and products, particularly FICC, derivatives, and regulatory capital.




- Work collaboratively with Global Markets stakeholders across Trading Desks, Front Office, Finance, Operations, Product Control, Risk Management, and Technology.
- Manage internal and external dependencies across multiple initiatives and workstreams.
- Support the socialization, review, and approval of target-state tools, processes, controls, and operating models through appropriate governance forums.
- Identify project risks, challenges, and dependencies, and proactively drive resolution or escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Engage senior stakeholders regularly, providing clear and well-articulated updates on progress, risks, issues, and required decisions.
- Develop accurate and insightful executive-level presentations, project updates, governance materials, and PMO artifacts.
- Build strong relationships across a global organization and promote a collaborative, joined-up approach to program execution.
- Analyze project and business data to support decision-making; SQL and advanced Excel experience are a plus.

Required Qualifications - 10+ years of relevant industry experience in project/program management, Capital Markets, financial services, or a related discipline.

- Recent FRTB experience within the last 2 years is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of FRTB Trading Book / Banking Book Boundary, Covered Positions, and Internal Risk Transfer (IRT).




- Experience working on FRTB and/or other significant Front Office-driven regulatory initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets transformation and Markets-related projects/programs.
- Experience with derivatives trading, risk, and P&L; flows.
- Proven track record of strategic project management and delivery of complex solutions within large financial institutions.
- Strong experience scoping, developing, prioritizing, and executing strategic initiatives.
- Ability to influence and build cooperative relationships across Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, Product Control, and Technology.
- Strong understanding of project governance, performance tracking, milestone management, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, follow-up, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change across complex, global organizations and incorporate diverse stakeholder perspectives.
- Ability to contribute thought leadership to target-state design and engage stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience delivering Markets, Risk, Regulatory, or Capital Markets transformation programs.

- Strong working knowledge of FRTB concepts, including Trading/Banking Book Boundary, Covered Positions, and IRT.
- Experience analyzing large datasets using SQL and Excel.
- Bachelor’s/University degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a strong plus.
