Senior Workday HCM, Compensation & Security Consultant

Are you a senior Workday consultant who enjoys solving complex configuration, reporting, and security challenges? Our client, a leading North American energy organization, is implementing Workday across its Canadian operations and needs an experienced consultant to strengthen its Calgary team ahead of go-live.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of key Workday HCM workstreams, shape how the system is configured, and help establish scalable processes that will support the organization beyond implementation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Security
- Lead End-to-End, User Acceptance, and Parallel Testing activities through deployment
- Build Advanced and Matrix Reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and analytics solutions
- Support the standardization of custom reports and workforce data across the organization
- Diagnose security and business-process issues and drive solutions through testing and deployment
- Partner with HR, compensation, payroll, IT, and business stakeholders while sharing Workday knowledge with the local team

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:





- 10+ years of Workday experience with active Workday certifications clearly identified on your resume
- Solid hands-on expertise across Core HCM, Compensation, Reporting, and Workday Security
- Experience designing security groups and troubleshooting domain and business-process security
- Proven success building Advanced and Matrix Reports and leading E2E, UAT, and Parallel Testing
- Advanced Compensation experience is strongly preferred; Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, or unionized-environment experience would be valuable
- Use your communication, stakeholder-management, and project-management skills to guide decisions and keep testing on track through go-live
