Location: 111 Jones St, Oakville, ON

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 25.0 - 40.0 hours per week (Full availability ideally Wednesday to Sunday, between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM)

About Us

Mi Amor Taqueria is a vibrant, authentic Mexican restaurant focused on fresh street tacos, handcrafted drinks, and warm community hospitality. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and energetic full-time Server to join our front-of-house crew and deliver great service to every guest who walks through our doors.

Compensation

- $17.60 per hour

Responsibilities

- Welcome and seat guests warmly, creating an inviting, friendly dining atmosphere.
- Present and explain menu items, including our authentic street tacos, breakfast specials, Aguas Frescas, and signature cocktails.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food, cocktails, cervezas, and non-alcoholic drinks efficiently to tables and counter guests.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring dining areas, patio setup, and service stations remain clean, stocked, and organized.




- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure fast ticket times and seamless order flow.
- Support teammates across front-of-house tasks whenever needed during peak service rushes.

Qualifications

- Valid Smart Serve certification required.
- Friendly, personable attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional punctuality and dependability for all scheduled shifts.
- Willingness to learn our menu, service standards, and operational routines.
- Previous serving or quick-casual restaurant experience is an asset.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a high-energy environment.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Spanish language (bonus, not required)

Work Location: In person (111 Jones St, Oakville, ON) Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
