Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills. This role involves providing guests with an exceptional dining experience through attentive service, efficient order management, and a welcoming attitude.

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods




- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow all sanitation and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required; training provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about menu items and service techniques
