Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring explicit communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to uphold sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables, stations, and dining spaces
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours




- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and sanitation protocols at all times

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and order calculations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and enthusiasm
