Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, customer-focused Service Coordinator to join Watford Ford Lincoln's Service Department. The Service Coordinator plays an significant role in keeping the department running efficiently by supporting customers, Service Advisors, technicians, and management throughout the service process.

The successful candidate will be professional, dependable, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet service customers in a friendly, professional manner and assist with their service needs.

· Schedule and coordinate service appointments by phone, online, and in person.

· Manage the service appointment calendar to help maintain an efficient flow of work through the shop.

· Confirm appointments and communicate with customers regarding scheduling, vehicle status, and service completion.

· Support Service Advisors with repair orders, customer communication, documentation, and administrative duties.

· Coordinate with technicians, Service Advisors, Parts Department staff, and management to help ensure repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently.

· Review customer and vehicle information for accuracy and maintain complete service records.

· Assist with Ford maintenance schedules, recalls, service campaigns, warranty-related documentation, and other manufacturer programs as required.

· Help identify upcoming maintenance requirements and communicate service recommendations to customers.

· Arrange customer transportation,



including shuttle service, loaner vehicles, or alternative transportation when applicable.

· Follow up with customers regarding recommended or deferred repairs and maintenance.

· Assist with incoming service calls and direct customer inquiries to the appropriate team member.

· Help maintain accurate customer information within the dealership management and customer relationship management systems.

· Support customer satisfaction initiatives and assist in resolving concerns promptly and professionally.

· Work closely with the Service Manager to support departmental productivity, customer retention, and overall service objectives.

· Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming customer service area.

· Perform other Service Department administrative and coordination duties as required.

Qualifications

· Previous customer service, administrative, scheduling, or automotive dealership experience is preferred.

· Experience in an automotive Service Department is considered a strong asset.

· Knowledge of Ford vehicles, maintenance programs, warranty processes, or dealership operations is an asset.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy, deadline-driven environment.

· Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, text, and in person.





· Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.

· Experience with dealership management systems, service scheduling software, or CRM platforms is an asset.

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with multiple departments.

· Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a clean driving record may be required depending on job responsibilities.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Availability during dealership Service Department hours is required, which may include early mornings and occasional Saturdays depending on the dealership’s operating schedule.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
