Service Cashier / Reception

Overall Responsibilities

The Service Cashier / Reception team member is responsible for providing qualified and courteous customer service during the vehicle service payment and checkout process. This position ensures that customer invoices are processed accurately, payments are received and recorded correctly, and customers receive the necessary information and documentation when picking up their vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

- Review repair orders and service invoices with customers as required.

- Receive and process payments for service and parts invoices using the payment methods and procedures established by dealership management.

- Ensure invoices are accurately closed and recorded as paid in the dealership management system upon receipt of payment.

- Provide customers with receipts and copies of invoices as confirmation of payment.

- Return vehicle keys to customers upon completion of the payment and checkout process.

- File and retrieve repair orders and related documentation as required.





- Advise customers of the location of their vehicle when it is ready for pickup.

- Follow up with customers who have missed scheduled service appointments and assist with rebooking their appointments.

- Schedule new or rebooked appointments accurately in the dealership system.

- Report customer complaints, concerns, or service issues to the Service Manager immediately.

- Maintain a professional appearance and a high standard of personal grooming and hygiene.

- Provide courteous, professional, and efficient customer service at all times.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

The Service Cashier / Reception team member is expected to represent the dealership in a professional and positive manner. This includes communicating respectfully with customers and colleagues, maintaining confidentiality where required, and helping ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience from vehicle pickup through completion of the payment process.
