BRON is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Material Handler to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

Receiving

- Receive incoming raw materials, components, parts, tools, and supplies.
- Verify quantities, part numbers, purchase orders, packing slips, and condition of materials.
- Inspect incoming materials for visible damage or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate department.
- Safely unload trucks using forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment as required.
- Label and identify received materials and ensure they are stored in the appropriate locations.
- Enter receiving information accurately into the company’s ERP or inventory management system.
- Communicate shortages, damaged materials, or incorrect shipments to Purchasing and other affected departments.

Shipping

- Prepare finished equipment, components, parts, and materials for shipment according to customer and carrier requirements.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, shipping documentation, and customer requirements before shipment.
- Package, palletize, band, wrap, and secure materials appropriately for transportation.
- Load trailers and trucks safely using forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
- Ensure shipments are properly secured and comply with applicable transportation and safety requirements.

Safety & Quality





- Operate forklifts, cranes, lifting devices, and other equipment in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and equipment is operated safely.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged materials, equipment issues, and incidents promptly.
- Follow quality procedures and ensure materials are protected from damage during handling, storage, and shipment.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to cover warehouse personnel and perform general warehouse duties as required.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift, overhead cranes, and other lifting equipment is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, drawings, and basic shipping documentation.
- Moderate computer skills and experience using ERP, warehouse management, or inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify parts, quantities, and documentation.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling materials as required by the position.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
