Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Siding Installer/Labourer. In this role, you will be assisting and installing siding and other external finishing products on residential buildings, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and customer satisfaction.

Schedule is Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation of various types of siding materials, including vinyl, wood, fiber cement, and composite products.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, staplers, and caulking guns to perform precise cuts and secure siding panels and products.
- Prepare work sites by measuring, leveling, and ensuring surfaces are ready for siding installation.
- Perform heavy lifting of siding materials and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply caulking around seams and joints to ensure weatherproofing and a clean finish.
- Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools, disposing of debris,



and adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

- Must have own transportation. Job involves travelling to job sites around HRM.
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders, and working off of staging at heights up to 30ft
- Experience with hand tools, carpentry, or general construction work is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Prior experience or construction background is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Steel toe shoes are required
- Having your own hand tools is preferred

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
