We are looking for an experienced Sign Maker / Channel Letter Technician to join our growing signage production team in Mississauga.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with channel letter fabrication, CNC machines, and channel letter bending machines and be comfortable working independently in a sign production workplace.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble channel letters, including front-lit and halo-lit letters
- Operate and set up CNC machines for signage production
- Operate channel letter bending machines
- Read and understand basic sign drawings and production files
- Cut, bend, assemble and finish aluminum, acrylic, ACM and other sign materials
- Assist with LED installation and channel letter assembly
- Perform general sign fabrication and shop work
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Follow safety procedures and operate equipment properly
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and preparing signs for installation when required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on sign-making experience
- Experience making channel letters is required
- Experience operating a CNC machine is required
- Experience operating a channel letter bending machine is required
- Basic understanding of sign fabrication and materials
- Ability to read measurements and work accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid G2 or G driver's licence
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
