About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Property Caretaker / Site Manager to help maintain the property, support guests, and ensure the site remains safe, clean, and well maintained.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, enjoys hands-on and outdoor work, and is able to identify and address property-related issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general property maintenance, groundskeeping, and seasonal upkeep.
- Maintain cleanliness of the property, including litter pickup and general organization.
- Assist with landscaping, grass cutting, watering, and snow removal.
- Monitor and report issues related to the property's water, septic, and irrigation systems.
- Coordinate with and oversee external contractors for routine maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with fire prevention, property security, and enforcement of applicable site rules.
- Monitor and report bear activity and help ensure proper handling of waste and bear attractants.
- Provide reasonable assistance to guests with property-related concerns, including power or water interruptions.




- Collect and deliver required water samples and paperwork on a weekly basis.
- Complete additional maintenance or improvement projects as requested by the Strata.
- Communicate property concerns, maintenance needs, and completed work to the Strata Manager.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in property maintenance, caretaking, landscaping, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong hands-on and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable interacting with guests and coordinating with contractors.
- Experience with water, septic, irrigation, or similar property systems is an asset.
