We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Site Medic/OFA3 to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide immediate medical assistance and support on-site, ensuring the health and safety of all personnel. Your expertise will help maintain a safe working environment by delivering prompt patient care, managing medical emergencies, and supporting overall site health initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Provide first aid coverage for employees working on mine site
- Respond promptly to workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies
- Assess, treat, stabilize, and monitor injured or ill employees within the scope of certification and site protocols
- Safely operate and maintain readiness of the company-provided ambulance
- Ensure the ambulance is appropriately stocked, clean, inspected, and ready for emergency response
- Coordinate with site supervision, Safety personnel, emergency response teams, and external emergency medical services as necessary
- Monitor and support the general health and wellness of employees on site
- Maintain first aid rooms, medical supplies, and emergency response equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of first aid and emergency response equipment
- Maintain accurate and confidential first aid treatment records and required documentation




- Participate in emergency response planning, drills, and site safety initiatives
- Identify and communicate potential health or safety concerns to site supervision and the Safety department
- Support supervisors and Safety personnel with incident response and follow-up as required
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence for employees seeking medical or wellness support
- Follow all TMM Projects and client health and safety policies, procedures, and mine site requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA 3) certification – required
- Valid BC Class 4 Driver's Licence – required
- Previous experience as a medic, first aid attendant, or emergency responder in a mining, construction, industrial, or remote work environment is considered a strong asset
- Experience operating an ambulance or emergency response vehicle is considered an asset
- Robust understanding of occupational first aid practices and emergency response procedures
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with employee medical information
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, Safety personnel, and external emergency responders
- Physically capable of performing the duties associated with emergency response and first aid
- Able to work outdoors and in varying weather and mine site conditions
- Must successfully complete all required pre-employment and mine site onboarding requirements

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
