As a Carpenter within the Facilities Services team, you will work collaboratively to execute a variety of carpentry tasks. Your key responsibilities include reading blueprints, cutting materials, and performing general maintenance, ensuring quality and compliance with building codes. Key Responsibilities: • Read blueprints and determine material needs • Cut and shape materials using hand and power tools • Finish structures using sanders and adhesives • Build and install handrails, platforms, and cabinets • Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings
Requirements: • Grade 12 diploma and valid Carpenter C of Q 403A • Valid Class G Driver’s License • Experience in facility maintenance or construction • Ability to read blueprints and communicate effectively • Strong commitment to safety and quality practices
