GG Calgary is looking for experienced Skidsteer & Loader Operators to join our snow removal team this winter!

Please note: This is NOT a permanent full-time position to start. This is an on-call snow removal position where hours are based on snowfall. However, when the snow hits, there are lots of hours available, and operators can work up to 14-hour shifts during major snow events.

How It Works

When a snow event reaches our 5 cm trigger, our operators are called out to begin clearing properties. We are looking for people who are dependable, available when needed, and confident operating a skidsteer and/or loader.

Snow removal can mean long days and early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on the weather. If you're looking to make good money during snow events and don't mind putting in the hours, this could be a great opportunity.

Responsibilities

- Operate skidsteers and loaders to clear snow from commercial properties and parking lots.
- Safely and efficiently remove and push snow as directed.
- Complete equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Follow directions from crew leads and supervisors.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Be available on-call when snow events are forecasted.

Requirements

- Experience operating skidsteers and loaders is required.




- Previous snow removal experience is an asset.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work extended shifts, including up to 14 hours during major snow events.
- Must be reliable and available when called out.
- Comfortable working outdoors in cold winter conditions.
- Strong work ethic and safety-focused attitude.
