Snow Clearing: Operate skid-steer and attachments (such as push plows, snow blowers, or angle brooms) to push, lift, and pile snow.
Precision Work: Navigate tight or high-traffic areas like sidewalks, loading docks, and congested parking lots while protecting curbs, buildings, and parked cars.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-and post-shift safety inspections, refuel, lubricate, and report mechanical issues to the supervisor.
Site Safety: Follow all workplace safety rules,
wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and watch for pedestrians or hidden obstacles.
Communication: Maintain contact with dispatch or team leads using a mobile phone or radio regarding changing weather and site conditions.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to work well independently and as part of a crew
Experience
Proven experience operating a skid-steer (Bobcat) or similar heavy equipment, ideally with winter maintenance backgrounds.
License: A valid driver's license (such as a Class 5 or G class) with a clean abstract.
Physical & Environmental Stamina: Ability to work safely during early mornings, overnight hours, weekends, and severe winter storm call-outs.
Tech Skills: Comfort using mobile apps or smartphones for tracking work hours and reporting completed sites.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
