Job Summary

Duties

- Operate snow plow trucks and related machinery to remove snow and ice from designated areas effectively.
- Perform routine inspections of plow equipment, including hydraulic systems, blades, and mechanical components, ensuring optimal functioning.
- Conduct minor mechanical repairs or adjustments on snow removal machinery using hand tools and power tools to minimize downtime.
- Support landscape maintenance activities such as trimming, planting, or irrigation during warmer months to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during snow removal operations to prevent accidents or injuries.




- Maintain detailed logs of work performed, equipment status, and any incidents encountered during shifts.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as snow plows, excavators, or similar construction equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshooting on machinery and tools.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including gardening, horticulture, irrigation systems, and use of hand tools or power tools.
- Prior experience in construction or outdoor maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions for extended periods while maintaining safety awareness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL certification is a plus but not required.
