The Opportunity
We're hiring an engaging Social Media Marketing Instructor to teach live online classes in social media strategy, branding, content creation, and creator skills. Classes are geared primarily toward teens, with some middle school students as well.
This role may include beginner-friendly classes and camps covering social media marketing fundamentals, personal branding, content planning, Canva, CapCut, YouTube creator skills, TikTok content and storytelling, and short-form video production.
We're looking for instructors who can make marketing and content creation feel approachable, creative, and fun — especially for students who are just getting started.
What You'll Do
- Teach live, interactive online social media marketing and content creation classes and camps, primarily for teens and some middle school students
- Lead students through hands-on projects using tools such as Canva and CapCut, and platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Guide students in building content strategy, brand identity, audience awareness, and short-form video storytelling
- Break down marketing and content concepts clearly in age-appropriate, engaging ways
- Support students with content planning, creative development, and constructive feedback on their work
- Teach one-on-one lessons and/or small-group classes of approximately 2–5 students
- Create a positive, structured, and encouraging virtual classroom
- Adapt lessons to each student's level, learning style, and creative interests
- Provide thoughtful feedback that helps students build confidence and skill
What We're Looking For
- Experience teaching social media marketing, digital marketing, content creation, or creator skills to teens and middle school students
- Working knowledge of major platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Experience with one or more of the following: Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools
- Familiarity with branding, content strategy, and audience building at a level suitable for teen learners
- Prior experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or working with teens and/or middle school students
- Confident and engaging on camera
- Clear, warm communicator
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Comfortable helping beginner students who may need extra support
- Ability to make marketing and content creation fun, structured, and accessible
- A relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field is a plus
- Experience creating project-based lessons or curriculum is a plus
- A personal or professional background as a content creator, marketer, or brand builder is a plus
