About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in UI/UX design, data modeling, and business analysis, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. This role requires someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively across cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to design and optimize business systems and user experiences.
- Conduct business and data analysis to support system development and enhancements.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support product backlog refinement with the team.
- Engage with diverse business units and user groups to gather requirements and capture pain points.
- Create data models, process flows, and functional documentation.




- Ensure solutions align with business goals, compliance standards, and technical best practices.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with design teams.
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data modeling and business process improvement.
- Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team setting.
- Experience working with government or public sector organizations is considered an asset.

Job Type: Fixed term contract Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
