- Senior engineering role focused on automated test equipment within manufacturing.




- Part of a cross‑functional team supporting global production lines.

- Full time position based in Richmond Hill, Ontario (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities - From the ground up, create and develop test equipment that is completely automated.

- Create test specifications and execution plans; guide junior engineers.
- Research, choose, and include electrical testing instruments and equipment.
- Conceive and verify the industrial panels complying with NFPA79 / NEC / UL508A standards.
- Install and validate safety measures for high‑voltage and mechanical hazards in the industry.
- Diagnose and polish the automated testing process to increase cycle time and uptime.
- Travel assistance both in the USA and abroad (maximum 20%) Requirements - A minimum of 5 years experience of direct participation in control, automation, test, or mechatronics engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics engineering or equivalent through practical experience. Familiarity with electrical testing instrumentation such as specifying: power supplies, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers.
- The capability of using electrical CAD tools such as EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical is a must.
- Programming skills in Rockwell Allen‑Bradley Studio 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal PLC systems will be an advantage.
- It would be beneficial if the person has knowledge of industrial/manufacturing automation and high‑voltage power electronics like inverters, dc‑dc converters.
