Job Summary

The successful individual will be required to perform and complete tasks associated with the manufacturing of all machined components.

Here’s what a typical day looks like!

- Toworkinaclean,secure,andorganizedmanner,asoutlinedinthe Healthand Safety Program; this includes crane and forklift training and use
- Verify and identify materials for size, shape, and type to ensure that the material selectediscorrectfortheapplicationaccordingtoengineeringdrawingsandinstructions




- Operate and use machine shop equipment for the purpose of manufacturing all machinedcomponents;thisequipmentincludesbridgeports,surfacegrinders,horizontal lathe, saws, and CNC machinery
- Useallmeasuringandcheckingskillstoverifythatallmachinedcomponentsarecorrect to blueprint dimensions
- Utilizeandrespectmachineshopequipment
- Participatinginfinishingofdetailsandmaterialpreparation
- Meetagreedupongoalsandobjectivesinatimelymanner
- Completeinspectionreportspriortothejobbeingremovedfromthemachine
- Performallotherdutiesasassigned

The value you bring to our company!

- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work experience
- Grade12O.S.S. Dorequivalent
- Valid Ontario Driver’slicense
- Mustbewillingandabletoachieveyourcraneandforkliftcertification
- Mustbeabletoliftupto30lbs.
- Possessingandutilizingyourowntoolsfordailytasks(ex.micrometers,verniers, indicators, etc.)
- Machiningsoftwareknowledge,including Lemoine,Master Cam,and Smirtwouldbe considered an asset
- Strongmechanicalproblemsolvingandorganizationalskillswiththeabilitytowork under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeofmachiningequipmentandsoftwareincluding Heidenhainand Fanuc controllers, milling, grinding, and fabrication would be considered an asset
- Experienceinamachineshopwouldbeconsideredanasset
- Ability to work shift work (days and afternoons), overtime,



and weekends as required
