Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Sri Lankan dishes with precision and passion, ensuring each plate meets quality standards.
- Oversee daily food preparation activities, maintaining efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food handling, safety protocols, and cooking techniques to uphold high standards.
- Manage food safety practices by adhering to hygiene regulations and proper storage procedures.
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure authenticity and freshness of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils at all times.




- Support restaurant management by coordinating with front-of-house staff for seamless food service delivery.

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations within the food industry.
- Supervising experience with team management skills that motivate staff and promote teamwork.
- Solid knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to oversee kitchen activities efficiently.
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices including inventory control and quality assurance.
- Experience in hospitality settings such as restaurants or catering services is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Skills in bartending or serving are a plus, contributing to versatile service capabilities.
