Join GFT as a Systems Safety Engineer in Ontario, Alberta, or British Columbia, specializing in safety assurance for transportation projects. Work on innovative designs and ensure safe travel for communities.

As part of the GFT transportation team, you will support safety analyses, hazard documentation, and certification activities throughout project phases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and utilize your expertise in rail system safety and risk management to contribute to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Hazard Logs and Safety Cases
- Perform System Hazard Analysis (SHA) and related safety studies




- Support verification and validation of safety requirements
- Review contractor safety deliverables with technical feedback
- Participate in design reviews and risk workshops

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
- Eligibility for Skilled Engineer registration in Canada
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Knowledge of CENELEC and CSA safety standards
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
