Salisbury, the worldwide leader in electrical safety equipment, is in search of the right candidate to grow our business in the Canadian Region. The ideal candidate will reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or the surrounding region.

Responsibilities

Establish trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers at Electric Utilities, Contractors, Co-Ops and Muni's in your region.

Develop Account Plans and execute commercial strategy for sales of Salisbury products.

Provide training while promoting all aspects of our product line.

Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins and opportunities within the region.

Drive identification, prospecting, creation and closure of sales opportunities.

Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing, and competition to product line marketing team.

Qualifications and Competencies:

1. 5 years of experience of direct sales, account management or team leadership
2. 5 years of experience in the Utility industry

Ability and willingness to travel 60%-75% of the time.

Strong oral and written communication skills





Strong interpersonal skills

Passionate self-starter with solid track record and demonstratable success in meeting or exceeding assigned targets.
