STORE SUPERVISOR – COFFEE & ARTISANAL GELATO SHOP

Full-Time | Year-Round

$19.50–$22/hour + tips, based on experience

Il Gelato di Carlotta is looking for an experienced and motivated Store Supervisor to join our team at our Niagara Falls location.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in the food, café, restaurant, or hospitality industry who is ready to take an active leadership role in a busy store.

NO STUDENT OR OTHER JOBS

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee daily store operations and lead the team
- Open and close the store independently
- Train, support, and coach staff
- Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage cash handling, deposits, and change
- Ensure company standards, procedures, and cleanliness are maintained
- Monitor product presentation, inventory, and store organization
- Support staff scheduling and coordinate daily operations
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Lead by example during busy periods
- Communicate with management regarding staff and operational issues
- Ensure the store is fully prepared for opening and properly closed at the end of the day

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in food, café, restaurant, or hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Reliable, skilled, and responsible
- Flexible availability,



including mornings, LATE evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Looking for a long-term, year-round position
