The Role

As a Strata Insurance Account Manager, you’ll be a trusted partner to property managers and strata councils, helping them navigate the unique complexities of strata insurance with confidence. You’ll manage client relationships, lead renewal and policy processes, coordinate with insurers and underwriters, and ensure clients receive proactive, consistent, 5-star service. Your ability to understand risk, explain coverage clearly, and stay ahead of deadlines will help protect what matters most to our clients while supporting the continued success of our Strata team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Build Solid Client Relationships

- Build strong, professional relationships with property managers and strata councils through responsive, proactive service
- Respond to client inquiries and provide clear guidance on coverages, limits, deductibles, exclusions, and key exposures
- Help clients understand their insurance options and make confident, informed decisions
- Reach out proactively before renewal to understand changes, discuss increases, and identify potential coverage needs
- Ensure client coverage remains accurate and help identify and prevent potential gaps
- Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, property, and unique strata exposures

Manage Policies & Renewals

- Manage new business, renewals, endorsements,



cancellations, and policy changes in accordance with Schill procedures
- Prepare submissions, proposals, binders, invoices, certificates, endorsements, and client correspondence
- Review policy wordings and quotations to confirm accuracy and alignment with client needs
- Compare quotations and identify restrictions, exclusions, coverage limitations, and other important considerations
- Review expiry lists well in advance and gather the information required for renewal and remarketing
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation in Epic for all client, insurer, and underwriting interactions
- Track outstanding activities and follow up proactively to ensure deadlines and service standards are met

Work with Underwriters & Insurance Markets

- Frontline-underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with insurer guidelines and Schill standards
- Prepare complete and accurate submissions and ensure underwriting information is provided in a timely manner
- Obtain additional information requested by underwriters and assist clients with completing applications
- Build strong working relationships with underwriters and insurance markets
- Stay current on market appetite, strata trends, coverage changes, and industry developments
- Coordinate remarketing activities and work with markets to secure appropriate coverage for clients

Support the Team & Grow the Business

- Partner closely with Account Executives to effectively service and grow the Strata book of business
- Identify relevant coverage needs and rounding opportunities and coordinate with the Account Executive as appropriate
- Support colleagues during high-volume periods or absences
- Contribute to a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment
- Maintain high standards for documentation, workflow, client service, and follow-through

What You Bring Must-Haves





- Level 1 General Insurance License
- 3-5 year experience working in Property Insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate insurance concepts and coverage information clearly to clients
- Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion

Nice-to-Haves

- Level 2 General Insurance License
- Experience working with strata insurance products and markets
- Experience working with property managers and/or strata councils
- Working knowledge of strata risk exposures, coverage requirements, and policy wordings
- Experience with frontline underwriting and insurer submission guidelines
- Proficiency with Epic and insurer portals
- Commercial Lines insurance experience
- Experience managing a book of business or client portfolio
