We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Subcontractor Fabricator and Installer. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in fabricating and installing custom components such as countertops, cabinetry, millwork, or other renovation elements. We're looking for a reliable professional with a focus on precision, craftsmanship, and clean installations.
Compensation: $50,000 - $100,000 annually based on piecework

Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and tradespeople to deliver top-quality fabrication and installation services
- Collaborate on-site with clients and teams to ensure all project requirements are met with precision
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate components such as countertops, millwork, cabinetry, panels, or other custom-built elements
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, shop drawings, and specs
- Operate woodworking and fabrication tools such as saws, routers, polishers, and grinders
- Conduct on-site installation of fabricated pieces, ensuring accurate fit, function, and appearance
- Handle materials including wood, laminate, quartz, solid surface, and metal
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install according to design and field conditions
- Perform finishing work such as sanding, polishing, and sealing
- Transport materials safely to and from the job site
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate updates, challenges,
and completions to the project manager
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required
Qualifications:
- Must speak English to ensure effective communication on job sites
- Must have own vehicle, fabrication tools, and installation equipment
- Minimum 5 years of fabrication and installation experience with references
- Must carry valid Liability Insurance and WSIB coverage
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and finishing techniques
- Able to lift heavy materials and work on-site with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail, clean finishes, and quality craftsmanship
- Comfortable using a smartphone and basic tech for scheduling and communication
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Driver’s license required
- Professional appearance and positive client-facing attitude
