Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supervisor for asbestos/mold remediation and Safety Officer to lead our environmental safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee remediation projects while promoting a culture of safety across our operations.

Duties

- Supervise asbestos and mold remediation activities, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols for remediation projects to prevent hazards and ensure worker protection
- Conduct regular inspections of job sites to identify potential safety risks related to asbestos, mold, or other environmental hazards
- Lead training sessions and development programs for team members on safe remediation practices and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to schedule remediation activities efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of safety procedures, incident reports, and remediation progress for accountability and regulatory audits




- Act as the primary point of contact for emergency response procedures related to environmental hazards

Requirements

- Proven experience in manufacturing environments or construction sites with a focus on environmental safety or remediation projects
- Strong knowledge of asbestos and mold removal procedures, safety standards, and relevant regulations (e.g., OSHA)
- Demonstrated ability to lead training & development initiatives for diverse teams
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and with external regulatory agencies
- Certifications related to environmental safety or hazardous materials management are preferred but not mandatory
- Physical ability to perform site inspections that may involve climbing, walking, or working in confined spaces
