NOW HIRING — SUSHI CHEF Sushitoshi South Side

Our team is looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join us!

$20–$28/hour depends on experience and skill level.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

- Has previous sushi chef experience
- Has robust sushi preparation & knife skills
- Can prepare rolls, nigiri, sashimi & other sushi dishes
- Takes pride in food quality and presentation
- Works well in a fast-paced kitchen
- Is reliable, hardworking, and a team player Experience is required.
- Food Safety Certification is an asset.

Duties

- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with precision and flair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station to ensure health and safety compliance
- Source fresh ingredients daily, ensuring quality and sustainability standards are met
- Educate team members on proper sushi techniques and presentation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders efficiently during busy service times




- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to prevent shortages

Requirements:

- Must be located in Edmonton or able to commute reliably
